I'm confused. What exactly was the uproar here? People interpreted it as making fun of Condoleeza Rice? I guess maybe because of the whole stereotype of black people liking watermelon? And what's up with that stereotype, anyway? Doesn't everyone love watermelon? What kind of jackass would turn down a cool slice of watermelon on a hot summer day?
